To encourage responsible ownership and breeding of the purebred Scottish Terrier. To promote the integrity of the Scottish Terrier through companionship, conformation, performance, character, and health as recognized by the AKC for purebred terriers. We are resolute in advocating good sportsmanship.
Dr. Geiselhardt , graduate of the veterinary medical school at Colorado State University in 1985, is extremely popular among
the Westie and Terrier community for his expertise in health, wellness and breeding. He is famous for his work with bulldogs
and other small breed dogs. He is a member of the Homestead Animal Hospital staff in Centennial, CO. He will speak for
approximately one hour and then take questions for 45 minutes. This seminar is underwritten by the West Highland
White Terrier Club of Greater Denver and the Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Denver. It is officially open to those members,
and members of the Westie Rescue Network, the Rocky Mountain Scottie Rescue and RMATC members at no cost. You
must have a reservation to attend, as space will be limited.
The Seminar will be held at the South Metro Fire Rescue Administration Bldg., 9195 East Mineral Ave., Centennial, CO
80112. Meeting room #1. The meeting room is in the lower level. Take elevator down and take the long corridor to the right. Signs will be posted.
The Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Denver is excited to host our 2019 Specialty and the 2019 STCA Rotating specialty in Greeley, Colorado on August 16. There will be 4 days of all breed shows in cooperation with the Greeley Kennel Club.
On Friday August 16 at the STCGD Specialty we welcome International Judge Goran Gladic for regular classes and Judging our Sweeps will be STCA Member Dr. Marsha Dawson.
The Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Denver is the STCA sanctioned and recognized regional club for the Rocky Mountain Area. Based in Denver, the STCGDenver has members from up and down the Rocky Mt Front Range, and associate members all over the U.S.
The STCGDenver puts on an annual regional specialty each August. The 2018 Specialty Results can be found HERE. The club members also host events for Scottie owners and participates in Conformation and Performance/Companion Events.
