Mission Statement

To encourage responsible ownership and breeding of the purebred Scottish Terrier.  To promote the integrity of the Scottish Terrier through companionship, conformation, performance, character, and health as recognized by the AKC for purebred terriers.  We are resolute in advocating good sportsmanship.

The Scottish Terrier Club of Greater Denver will be hosting the National Rotating Specialty this coming August Friday the 16th -2019 in Greeley Colorado!

We have a beautiful array of wonderful trophies this year, most of them “custom designed” by Montana Silversmith! Also a custom made show lead for our best Junior handler as well as other fabulous trophies for the classes!

Such a wonderful opportunity to be granted this honor of hosting the Nationals that we felt the trophies should be especially outstanding.

We ask for your kind donation to help with this expense, no matter what that contribution will be, anything helps!

We will also proudly list your name as a donor in the catalog as a contributor.

Please send your monetary gift made out to STCGD to:

Or you can make a trophy donation right here on our website!  Just note on the form that this is a trophy donation.

Thank you so very much!

IMG 2153My husband and I live in Indiana on 60 acres where we have raised our family since 1980. We are fortunate enough to have our two grown children and 5 grandchildren who live close by. I went to Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine and practiced in near by Brownsburg until I retired. I have been breeding and showing Scotties since the mid-1980’s under the HiJinks affix. I am a 33 year member of the STCA. I am also a member of the Scottish Terrier Clubs of Greater Dayton, Michigan, Greater Louisville, and Chicago (honorary). I have served on the STCA Board for several years as a Director and Corresponding Secretary, and I have also served on the STCA Health Trust Fund for several terms. I am currently the Chairperson of the Health Trust Fund. I am not breeding as many litters as I used to, but along with achieving some nice successes in the Conformation ring at specialties and all breed shows, I am enjoying training my Scotties in Rally and Barnhunt.  I have had the privilege of judging several Specialty Sweepstakes in the past, and I have enjoyed every minute of judging the puppies.
